Developing media assets and providing writing support for philanthropic causes is central to my existence. I have completed as many volunteer media projects as I have paid projects, and the former are often more satisfying. It is for this reason that I'm in the process of creating a non-profit called "Cause for Action." The purpose of "Cause for Action" is to secure funding from various sources to develop media projects for other philanthropic organizations. Information will soon be available at www.causeforaction.org.

I am active in several animal welfare and rescue groups because I believe that we must give a voice to those who cannot defend themselves. In addition, I am a regular volunteer videographer for the Ventura County Sheriff's Department Annual K9 Fundraiser. This event brings canines and humans together for a day of activity and education, and raises funding to purchase and train new police dogs.

Other service groups I've been involved with include Ventura County Red Cross, Girl Scouts, and School on Wheels (tutoring for homeless children).
